The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) released the 2012-13 All-Academic Team today and the Lynchburg College cross country and track & field programs had 22 recognized.

The first day of the NCAA Division III National Championship Track and Field Meet took place Thursday in La Crosse, WI.

On Sunday, the NCAA announced the participants for the Division III Track and Field National Meet, and both the Lynchburg College men and women found out one athlete per team will be attending.

On Friday, the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the regional award winners with the national meet only a week away.

Several members of the Lynchburg College men’s and women’s track and field teams went to the SWAT Final Qualifying Meet at Swarthmore College on Monday, with very positive results.

Over the past three days, a few Lynchburg College men’s and women’s track and field athletes have competed in select meets in order to attempt to qualify for the National Championship meet.
